Liars Club member, thriller writer Jon McGoran (Dead Out, Dust Up) moves from the interviewer side of the table for this week’s wild and crazy Oddcast. He talks about his character Doyle Carrick, about writing under a pen name, and about his latest, a tie-in novel to the series Blacklist.
This week the Oddcast welcomes author, essayist, playwright Lori Myers.
Lori Myers is an accomplished journalist, essayist, novelist, short story writer, teacher and playwright. Her fictional work covers numerous categories–horror, spec-fic, and women’s fiction; in non-fiction, she has published over 1500 articles in 45 national and regional magazines. Lori’s plays, produced internationally, include musicals, comedies, dramas and children’s plays. Her first, “91366,” depicting the cultural implications of tattoos to different generations, is still relevant and still being produced.
Sue Miller, author of The Good Mother, Inventing the Abbots, and more terrific novels, talks with the Liars Club about how much she knows and doesn’t know as she writes, and a dozen other intricacies of the craft, on this week’s Liars Club Oddcast.
